PSG have been strongly linked with interest in the Liverpool star.

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has said that he has no knowledge of any offer from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain, Goal reports.

There have been some reports that Coutinho is attracting interest from the French capital, with Spanish newspaper Marca reporting there is interest from Barcelona as well.

The Brazilian was asked about the links following his hat-trick for his country in their 7-1 win over Haiti at the Copa America.

Coutinho said: “As far as I know, there’s no offer. I’m here with the national team, this subject is for my representatives. More important for me is to be here, focused on the national team and having a good tournament. That’s where my head is.”

So, there appears to be nothing to report as far as Coutinho is concerned as Liverpool will look to keep hold of their player of the year this summer, who enjoyed is best goalscoring season for the Reds last season - scoring 12 goals in all competitions.

No doubt things will become more clear over the summer. The Liverpool Echo reports that the stance previously with the Brazilian when there has been interest from elsewhere is that the player is not for sale. One would expect the Reds would dig their heels if interest were to intensify - and if there were a sale then they wouldn't let him go on the cheap.

However, thus far there seems to be no desire from the player himself to push for a move from Anfield, and when players are on international duty, they sometimes come out with some of the more explosive quotes. Coutinho's response wasn't. There seems little indication to worry about his future at this point for Liverpool fans but they will be more assured when the start of the season comes round and he is starting games for the Reds.
