Uruguay v Trinidad and Tobago - International Friendly
Liverpool have been linked with a surprise transfer move for Uruguay international Edinson Cavani, report TuttoMercatoWeb.
Cavani, currently on international duty with Uruguay at the Copa America, is reported to be looking for a move to a more competitive league after winning consecutive Ligue 1 titles in France with Paris Saint-Germain.
The striker is 29-years-old and has been at PSG since 2013.

He netted 25 goals in all competitions for PSG last season, although was overshadowed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who netted 50 goals.
Liverpool would not be the only European club interested in Cavani by any means, and there would be two big reasons against a move.
Cavani would demand high wages, close, if not equal to his PSG levels, while the Reds do not have Champions League or Europa League football to tempt him with.

The Reds could look to fund the move by selling Christian Benteke, while his arrival would certainly make life difficult for strikers Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi.
