If Tottenham sign both Batshuayi and Janssen they could go goal-crazy next season

Michy Batshuayi

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly move for two new strikers this summer.

Michy Batshuayi

According to a report from the Times, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on bringing in both Michy Batshuayi and Vincent Janssen this summer and the prospect will surely delight Spurs fans desperate for the club to kick on after a very promising campaign.

The age old mantra is that goals win games, and if Tottenham do ultimately secure the Dutch and Belgian internationals they will be adding a duo that scored a combined 55 club goals last season.

That is a superb return, and when you also consider Janssen and Batshuayi are 21 and 22 respectively, adding those two to Harry Kane could ultimately ensure Tottenham have one of the best strike forces in world football.

Of course that is only if the pair arrive in North London and ultimately settle, but the Spurs targets have what it takes to excel in the Premier League and they could go goal-crazy next season and beyond.

When you think how close Tottenham were to winning their first Premier League title – until a late capitulation – it makes perfect sense for Pochettino to bring more match-winners into his squad.

The pair also had 17 assists between them last season and their creativity and threat in front of goal could take Spurs to the next level just when they need it.
