Lukaku looks set to have an important role for his country during the international tournament in France, as he is Marc Wilmots’ side’s main striker.
If the 23-year-old does have an impressive tournament, Everton are sure to have to fend off interest in their prized asset, and Collymore has backed Lukaku to move to a Champions League side this summer.
“If the Belgians do well, it invariably means Lukaku will do well,” he said. “He’s my best bet for top scorer and a big move to a Champions League outfit this summer!”
Lukaku has already made public comments suggesting that he would be open to leaving Everton in the summer.
The powerful forward blasted in 25 goals for the Toffees last season, but he unable to fire Everton into Europe.
The Merseyside club ended up finishing in 11th place, leaving Lukaku seemingly actively pursuing a move.
Everton are determined not to have to sell any of their prized assets this summer, but they have told impending boss Ronald Koeman that he may find it difficult to keep hold of Lukaku, according to the Daily Mirror.
