Borussia Dortmund's Henrikh Mkhitaryan celebrates scoring their first goal
After an outstanding season in which he scored 23 goals and provided 18 assists, Mkhitaryan is highly coveted, but Arsenal have a big advantage.
That edge stems from the player himself, who admitted in 2009 he would one day like to be an Arsenal player.
Speaking to UEFA.com, the Armenian international praised the club along with manager Arsene Wenger.
He said: "My favourite team is Arsenal.I like their attacking play and fast style.
"Moreover, Arsène Wenger puts faith in young players while demanding results at the same time. I like that and want to play there one day."

Mkhitaryan has played against Arsenal with Dortmund, but playing for the Gunners at The Emirates would be a different proposition indeed, and the fulfilment of a dream.
Just 20 at the time, Mkhitaryan is now 27 and has blossomed into a top superstar. He could have a monumental impact at Arsenal if they can snap him up, and based on his previous comments, he would find it incredibly difficult to turn them down.
