Netherland's Vincent Janssen celebrates.
The report in VI carries these quotes from Huiberts:
“We have not yet received an offer.
"With his many goals this season, he has aroused a lot of interest from other clubs. Yet we’d happily keep him at AZ next season.
"Should it come to a transfer of Vincent, then we use the money we get for him to find him a replacement within the margins set by AZ.”
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
It also claims that AZ will not discuss a fee with Spurs until after the player and club can agree on a deal.
The initial rumours of this deal came after Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino was spotted attending the international fixture between the Republic of Ireland and Holland. It immediately led to speculation that he was keeping tabs on Southampton striker Shane Long but it was then reported by Sky Sports that it was in fact Janssen he was keeping tabs on.
