Writing on social networking site Twitter, Guillem Balague has said that Everton are considered a huge club in Europe.
The Blues are set to secure the signature of manager Ronald Koeman this week after tempting him into a move from Southampton.

The switch has sparked fierce debate between fans and pundits alike, who are questioning the logic behind the Dutchman making the move.
The chief argument has been about club size, with Southampton fans arguing they are a bigger club than the one he is moving to.

Everton fans have not taken well to that suggestion, pointing out how their team dwarfs the Saints when it comes to trophies and history in the top flight.
And now Balague has offered his thoughts, insisting that Everton are viewed as a huge club in Europe.

It will now be interesting to see if Koeman can turn Everton back into one of the Premier League big boys in the coming years.
He looks set to be offered big money to spend, as Farhad Moshiri looks to make the Blues top four contenders and beyond.
They have some ground to make up though, and Koeman will surely be keen to prove he is the man that can help them achieve it.
