According to the Telegraph, Southampton are demanding £5 million in compensation from Everton for manager Ronald Koeman.
The Toffees have made Koeman their first choice to take over from Roberto Martinez, and it seems that they have got their man.
Koeman has agreed personal terms with Everton, and he is expected to move to Goodison Park in the next few days.
However, Southampton are determined not to lose Koeman cheaply - and they are holding out for a high price for the Dutchman.
Southampton reportedly initially expected to be able to keep hold of Koeman, when Everton’s interest was first noted.
The Saints offered Koeman a deal which would have made him their highest paid boss ever, but his head has been turned by Everton.
The Toffees have promised Koeman a transfer budget of over £100 million and also assured him that he will not be under pressure to sell any players.
Everton are now expected to complete their move for Koeman in the coming days, but Southampton want to maximise the amount of money they can get for the 53-year-old.
