Here to see Brendan Rodgers... or Rangers? Celtic season ticket sales are booming...
Celtic fans in the stadium await the arrival of New Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers after the press conference
Excitement among Celtic fans ahead of the new season is sky high, as they seek to win a sixth consecutive Scottish Premiership title.
Season ticket sales are booming, with the Daily Record reporting how fans scrambled to get to Celtic Park yesterday to buy them, queuing all day to pick them up as they went on general sale.
Celtic - Brendan Rodgers Press Conference
The paper described this as the Brendan Rodgers effect in full flow, hailing supporter enthusiasm regarding the newly appointed manager, who was introduced as manager in place of Ronny Deila a fortnight ago.
Yet not everybody believes the enthusiasm is about Rodgers.
Rangers fans are convinced the queues and rush to snap up tickets like gold dust is due to the incoming spectacle of the Gers being back in the top flight.

The two teams played an enthralling Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park in April, which whet the appetite for them to meet on a regular basis again.
Rangers were demoted from the top flight in 2012 after financial irregularities, and have only just clinched promotion back to the Scottish Premiership.

Its quite embarrasing. How it took rangers to return to the premiership. For the celtic fans to go and buy season tickets.
