Steven Fletcher has told the Scotsman that Celtic should look to sign his former Sunderland teammate Danny Graham.
Both Fletcher and Graham have been released by Sunderland recently, and the pair have quickly been linked to Celtic.
New Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers wants to upgrade his striking options at Parkhead, and reportedly feels that both Graham and Fletcher would be good additions.
Fletcher would not confirm whether he would be interested in a move to Celtic, but he did suggest that Rodgers would be well served by bringing in Graham.
“He’d be a great player for them. We’re good pals, and I enjoyed my time playing with him,” the Scotland international forward said.
Graham’s time at Sunderland was largely disappointing, and he only managed to score one Premier League goal for the club.
Graham has previously been prolific at Watford and Swansea City, however, and he worked with Rodgers at both clubs.
Fletcher, meanwhile, struggled for appearances at Sunderland this term, and he was sent out on loan to Marseille towards the back end of the campaign.
Fletcher scored 23 goals in 94 Premier League appearances for Sunderland in total.
