Manchester United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s performance for Sweden on Sunday afternoon.

Ibrahimovic featured for Sweden against Wales in a friendly international match in Stockholm.

The former AC Milan and Juventus striker failed to score, but he did play a role in the home team’s 3-0 victory over the Welsh.

Emil Forsberg fired Sweden in the lead on 40 minutes, and Mikael Lustig added the second on 57 minutes.

John Guidetti wrapped up the scoring for the hosts in the 87th minute, as the hosts won pretty comfortably.

Ibrahimovic showed flashes of his quality, trying a 25-yard curling effort in the first half before teeing up Forsberg for his goal.

The 34-year-old was substituted just past the hour mark, but United fans were still pleased with his performance.

The former Barcelona striker will reportedly join United in the summer transfer window. According to The Guardian, Ibrahimovic’s agent, Mino Raiola, has reached a deal with the Red Devils over the star’s salary, and talks will now take place between Ibrahimovic and the club’s new manager Jose Mourinho.
