According to the Guardian, Arsenal have made a move to sign Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.
The Gunners are keen to add a striker to their ranks, and have reportedly activated Vardy’s release clause in a deal that could cost as much as £20million.

According to the report, that relatively low fee, and the danger that Vardy offers with his pace have both tempted Arsene Wenger into making a move for the England international.
It would be a major blow for Leicester to lose their talisman, with his 24 Premier League goals having been key to their title success last season.
And reacting on Twitter, Foxes fan Gary Lineker has urged him to reject the advances from London.

Should Vardy end up at Arsenal this summer, it would represent a drastic change in the transfer policy that has long ruled at the club.
There is no denying that he could be a good signing for them though as he would add a direct style that is sorely lacking from their team at present.
