Sambou will now be hoping to make a positive impact in Everton’s youth ranks and progress to the first team in the years to come.

He is certainly at the right club to do so, with the Blues having established a number of young stars in their first team over the years.

Indeed, two of them, John Stones and Ross Barkley, are currently starring for the national side and Sambou will be hoping he can enjoy similar success in future.
