Copa Libertadores goal scoring sensation Jonathan Calleri has revealed he is plotting to move to Europe in September.

Calleri has been strongly linked with both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham in recent weeks. Yahoo Desportes claimed his dad even let slip he had a move to Spurs lined up, which he later denied.

The Evening Standard later claimed West Ham were trying to secure a loan move, but this would be difficult - perhaps impossible - due to the fact he has third party owners.

Calleri told radio station Radio del Pueblo, Tuttomercatoweb reported: "In a month or so I should get an Italian passport, to relocate to Europe in September. That would be my dream."

The striker, who has also been linked in the Italian report to Serie A side Fiorentina, will find it much easier to clinch his dream move once he has an EU passport, as he will not have to apply for a work permit in countries which require one, like England.

Calleri made his name at Boca Juniors before he signed with Uruguayan second tier side Deportivo Maldonado, a bizarre deal financed by third parties, who agreed to loan him out to Sao Paulo.

The obvious end game is to sell him on for a profit, if the interested Premier League sides can hold on, he could be a late transfer window addition.
