There is positive news coming out of the Belgium camp regarding midfielder Mousa Dembele, who missed last night's friendly with injury.

The Tottenham Hotspur maestro did not feature in the 1-1 draw with Finland due to a calf strain, and had not been expected to do so.

Now Belgian newspaper Nieuwsblad, who reported his injury, today update that he has returned to full training, a big boost for the team.

While central midfield is a position of strength for Belgium with Radja Nainggolan, Marouane Fellaini and Axel Witsel alternate options, Dembele was outstanding last season and is in contention to be a starter for them at Euro 2016.

Dembele bounced back from a difficult first season under Mauricio Pochettino's management at Tottenham to be considered among their most important players, with the team missing him late in the season when he was suspended.

Euro 2016 is a chance for him to prove it on a big stage, and the good news is that he appears to have shaken off the injury which was troubling him earlier this week.
