But what do we know about the Frenchman? Here are five facts:

5) Born in Nimes on 8 August 1997, Cardona is a striker for Monaco Under-19s. The right-footer is a prolific scorer at youth level and was on target in the recent Coupe Gambardella final victory against RC Lens.

4) He has also won three caps for France Under-18s, where he counts Arsenal's Ismael Bennacer among his teammates, but is yet to get off the mark at that level.

3) Despite his promise, Cardona has not yet featured for Monaco - the club at which David Trezeguet, Thierry Henry and Anthony Martial made their names.
