The reported Tottenham Hotspur target scored for his country recently.
The 21-year-old was on target in the Oranje's 2-1 friendly win over Poland on Wednesday as his stock continues to rise.
"Janssen put in a strong performance and does a lot of work for the team," Blind said to SBS6, via Goal.com.
"He has two goals in three games now. He always pops up in dangerous positions and is always available. He is a very versatile striker and a player who can only get better."
Janssen netted 31 times for AZ Alkmaar last season, and despite Dutch football being considered inferior to its English equivalet, those figures stand up well.
The important thing for Tottenham is whether they can recruit an adequate back-up option for Harry Kane who, with 25 goals, scooped the Premier League's Golden Boot this past season.
Son Heung-min and Nacer Chadli both tried and failed in forward roles at times last term, with both used up front in Europa League primarily.
Tottenham finished third last season, having been in the Premier League title race for so long, and a lack of plan-b option arguably cost them a higher finish.
Kane is lethal, but the lack of competition and options up top did the Lilywhites no favours whatsoever. Is Janssen the man to change that?
