Legendary striker McCoist enjoyed a trophy-laden 15 years with Rangers, winning 19 major titles in a lengthy spell in which he saw some world-class talent come and go.
Two of the best were arguably Laudrup and Gascoigne, who only spent a total of seven years at Rangers between them but the duo left their footprint at Ibrox all the same.
Laudrup, who joined Rangers from Fiorentina in 1994 and left in 1998, helped the Gers to three successive Premiership crowns, while Gascoigne signed from Lazio in 1995 and spent three happy years with the Glasgow giants, culminating in two top-flight titles.
Of course, McCoist's stint at Rangers coincided with that of Laudrup and Gascoigne, and the 53-year-old, who was speaking to Ladbrokes #FORTHEFANS EURO 2016 pre-tournament Q&A session, says those two were his favourite signings.
AM: My favourite signings would have been Gascoigne and Laudrup. (1/2)— Scottish Sun Sport (@scotsunsport) June 1, 2016
AM: I thought they provided absolutely brilliant entertainment for the fans. There's no doubt about it, they were great players. (2/2)— Scottish Sun Sport (@scotsunsport) June 1, 2016
It has been a trying couple of years for Rangers, who were demoted to the fourth tier of Scottish football in 2012, but they will be back in the big time next season under manager Mark Warburton.
