Everton have turned to super agent Jorge Mendes to try to lure Sevilla manager Unai Emery to Goodison Park, reports Estadio Deportivo.
The Blues are currently looking for their next manager having sacked Roberto Martinez towards the end of this past season.
There is a long list of names who have been linked to the position and the Europa League winner is reportedly among those being considered.
So far Everton have not made any breakthrough, with several reports claiming that Emery is not interested in a move to the Premier League this summer.
Mendes enjoys a strong relationship with new Everton investor Farhad Moshiri, and has reportedly been told to offer Emery a ‘juicy economic proposal and an attractive project.’
Unfortunately for Everton it may prove to be fruitless, with the Sevilla boss reportedly eyeing up the Atletico Madrid job should Diego Simeone decide to leave at any point in the near future.
