A host of goalscorers have already been linked with the club, and now a shock link to Watford centre forward Troy Deeney is emerging.
The Sun report that Tottenham have put Deeney on a list of strikers to target this summer, and could even move for Marseille's Michy Batshuayi as well as Deeney.

The 27-year-old, formerly of Walsall, hit 15 goals in all competitions this past season, including 13 goals in his debut Premier League campaign. Yet, despite the goals, it's believed that it's Deeney's link-up play which has impressed Pochettino, after notching seven assists.
The report adds that Tottenham feel that Deeney could become a cult hero in North London, and whilst Leicester are also keen on signing the striker, Deeney lives just 20 minutes from Tottenham's training ground, and staying locally may be appealing too.

It's unclear how much Watford would want for Deeney, but it's claimed that the striker is unhappy with the sacking of manager Quique Sanchez Flores, and the Hornets won't stand in his way if he receives an offer to play for Spurs in the Champions League.
