According to Spanish newspaper AS, Liverpool are in the race to sign Real Sociedad youngster Mikel Oyarzabal this summer - but Arsenal are also keen.

The Reds have already added some new faces to their squad for next season in goalkeeper Loris Karius, defender Joel Matip and midfielder Marko Grujic, but manager Jurgen Klopp may yet look to add even more talent to his ranks this summer.

Klopp has been known for giving chances to young players during his managerial career, and now Liverpool are being heavily linked with a move for Real Sociedad wonderkid Mikel Oyarzabal.

The 19-year-old winger has come up through the ranks at the Anoeta having joined in 2011 from hometown club Eibar, and has burst onto the scene in La Liga.

With six goals and an assist in just 22 games, Oyarzabal has taken Spanish football by storm and has even already been capped by Spain as a teenager.

Now, AS report that Liverpool are keen to lure Oyarzabal to Anfield, but they aren't alone in hoping to snatch the left-footed winger this summer.
