According to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, the agent of AC Milan goalscorer Carlos Bacca is heading to London to hear a proposal from West Ham United.

Bacca hit 20 goals in first campaign for Milan this past season, justifying just why they were so desperate to sign him from Sevilla last summer.

The Colombian striker has earned a reputation as something of a goal machine, having hit 80 goals in 161 appearances during spells with Club Brugge and Sevilla.

Now one of the most dangerous strikers in Europe, 29-year-old Bacca appears to have caught the attention of West Ham, according to reports this week.

Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the Hammers had made a £15m bid for Bacca, with Milan holding out for £19m - and the deal could be moving closer today.

Di Marzio has today claimed that Bacca's agent Sergio Barila is on his way to London for talks with West Ham, as he will listen to the club's proposal for a summer transfer - a massive boost for manager Slaven Bilic as he searches for a consistent goalscorer.

It's added that, as long as West Ham can match Bacca's wages at the San Siro, the striker will be interested in a move, but the meeting between West Ham and Barila is described as a 'critical point' in any potential deal to bring Bacca to the Olympic Stadium.
