Celtic announced Brendan Rodgers as their new manager last month.
Leigh Griffiths has said at his press conference this afternoon that everyone in the Celtic squad was messaging each other expressing their happiness when they heard Brendan Rodgers had become their next manager.
Rodgers was appointed as Celtic’s new manager last month, and his arrival has created great excitement around Parkhead.
It seems that it is not only the Bhoys’ supporters who are excited about Rodgers’ appointment, however, as their players were also quick to chat about the former Liverpool boss’s arrival in the group chat.

Rodgers’ arrival announces Celtic’s ambitions, as they aim to make sure they win the Scottish Premiership for the sixth time in a row.
The Glasgow club are also determined to improve their performance in Europe, following two poor seasons under Ronny Deila’s stewardship.
Deila failed to guide Celtic into the Champions League during either of his two seasons in charge at Parkhead.
Rodgers is expected to be given a relatively large amount of funds to spend to renovate Celtic’s current squad, with the club already beginning to draw up plans for next campaign.
