Romelu Lukaku spared Belgium's blushes last night in an international friendly, helping them rescue a draw against Finland.

Belgium are regarded as one of the pre-tournament favourites for Euro 2016, but have been hit by injuries, and have players like Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku trying to find their form.

Lukaku ended the season in poor form for Everton, failing to score in any of his last 10 games for the club.

He has followed this up by continuing to talk up a summer exit from the club either directly or via his agent or even his dad, and will be hoping to use Euro 2016 as a platform for a move.

Lukaku's recent comments have lowered his standing in the eyes of Everton fans, so much so that the club's official Twitter account was inundated with messages from supporters expressing their frustration at the Belgian, after it posted a simple message noting his goal in last night's friendly match.

Here is a look at a selection of the responses...

The responses show that some Everton supporters have pretty much written off Lukaku as a player for the club, expecting him to move on this summer, and net them a substantial price.

His late season form will have worried some of the clubs taking an interest in him, and he needs a big Euro 2016.

Play poorly and he may not find a bidder, and have to return to Everton with his tail between his legs, and hope he will be accepted.
