Arsenal have joined Everton, West Ham and Liverpool in eyeing Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Arsenal are looking likely to spend big this summer as they look to bounce back from what was perceived as a disappointing campaign this past season.

They have already added defensive midfielder Granit Xhaka in a big money move, but it appears he will not be the only arrival.

Improving the defensive side of the team seems a target for Arsene Wenger, with the likes of Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista failing to impress alongside Laurent Koscielny.

And according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Frenchman is now looking to battle several other Premier League sides for the Colombian star Jeison Murillo’s signature this summer.

The defender made 38 appearances in all competitions for Inter Milan last season and impressed in the heart of their defence.

He is also a mainstay in the Colombian defence, and has attracted interest from the likes of Everton, West Ham United and Liverpool also according to Italian media outlets Corriere dello Sport and Leggo.

He would however be an expensive capture though, with a €25million, around £19million asking price being touted for him.
