Turkish side Bursaspor have confirmed that Championship club Fulham have made an official move for Serdar Aziz.

Ali Ay told Fanatik today that Fulham and Besiktas had made offers for the player, who has also been linked with Inter Milan.

He stated:

"There are two serious offers from us about Serdar Aziz. One of the English team Fulham, Besiktas other. They offer figures on our proposals currently under our expectations. We will wait a little longer."

The 25-year-old has been on the books at Bursaspor since he was 10-years-old and is their current captain. He has picked up nine caps for the Turkish national team, but has not been picked in their squad to play at the European Championships in France this summer.

The same report from Fanatik claims that the club want to sell him to England, as that is his wish, but to a Premier League club.

Fulham would currently fall short of this apparent stipulation but would hope Aziz can help them to a promotion fight next term.

The technically astute defender may be something of a talent but his height, standing at just six foot, may see him struggle in the often physically demanding Championship.

Fulham are looking to bring in new recruits this summer to turn around fortunes for the club, who were in a relegation battle for much of the 2015-16 campaign.
