Rio Ferdinand has named the England starting XI he would pick at Euro 2016 this summer, reported by the Mirror.

England are currently gearing up for the tournament in France, with manager Roy Hodgson still suffering from several selection headaches.

it is unknown which formation he will plump for at the tournament, with many believing he go for a 4-4-2 diamond to utilise both Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy upfront.

He has somewhat experimented with that line up in the warm-up wins over both Turkey and Australia but appears set to stick with a 4-2-3-1 selection.

Eric Dier is the defensive midfield option, while Dele Alli is partnered with Ross Barkley in the centre of midfield as Arsenal star Jack Wilshere is dropped.

Captain Wayne Rooney is handed the number ten role that many believe he should occupy, while Vardy and Kane are partnered up front in a line-up that few England fans would argue with.
