Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies has spoken highly of Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale in The Daily Express.
Davies and Bale are Wales international teammates and will play with each other at the Euro 2016 finals in the summer.
This is the first time that the Dragons will feature in a major international tournament for 58 years.
Not many will expect Wales to go too far at the European Championship in France, but former Swansea City defender Davies believes that Bale’s presence gives them a massive chance.
“Anything is possible with Gareth in the team,” the 23-year-old left-back told The Daily Express about the former Tottenham star.
“Any team in the tournament would be lucky to have him. Hopefully, the rest of us can supply him with the chances to show what he can do.”
Bale is one of the best players in the world and will head into the Euro 2016 finals in France in great form.
The former Tottenham and Southampton star scored 19 goals and created 50 chances in 23 La Liga appearances for Madrid this past season.
The Welshman created 21 chances in eight Champions League games for Los Blancos and helped them win Europe’s premier club competition.
Bale will be a key player for Wales at the European Championship in France. Chris Coleman’s side have been drawn alongside England, Russia and Slovakia in Group B.
