Southampton midfielder Steven Davis has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction after playing for Northern Ireland on Friday evening.
Northern Ireland got the better of Belarus 3-0 at Windsor Park in Belfast in a friendly international match.
Kyle Lafferty put the home team in the lead after only six minutes, and Conor Washington doubled the advantage just before the half-time interval.
Will Grigg completed the scoring just two minutes before full time, as Michael O’Neill’s side continued their preparations for the Euro 2016 finals in France in the summer.
Davis, who has been on the books of Southampton since 2012, started the match and played for the first 45 minutes.
The former Aston Villa and Rangers midfielder has thanked the Northern Ireland fans for their support.
Davis scored five goals and created 53 chances in 34 Premier League matches for Southampton this past season.
The 31-year-old former Fulham midfielder had a pass accuracy of 84% and a shot accuracy of 60%, and won 12 headers, 20 dribbles and 45 tackles.
