Mourinho is done, surely Zlatan is next? Well, not necessarily, according to the Swede’s agent Mino Raiola.

The football agent has claimed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not agreed a deal with Manchester United as yet, and that he could still pull off a shock move and go elsewhere.

Zlatan’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of next month, and rumours have been rife that the Swede could well follow his former manager José Mourinho to Old Trafford in the very near future.

But his agent, speaking to Swedish media outlet Expressen, has moved to deny that Zlatan to United is virtually a done deal, citing there are other options available for the Swede, including from other European clubs.

“There are some clubs in England, a few clubs in Europe, some outside Europe, but everyone assumes he must go to Manchester United and it’s not true

"We could well pull a surprise at the end.

"Will he retire? Absolutely not.

Raiola also added that the Swede won't come cheap.

“Ibrahimovic is a star and the club that gets him doesn’t need to pay a transfer fee.

“That means Ibrahimovic, who just finished a record season at PSG, can get an extra-high salary.

“He is in a good bargaining position.

“It is not important to get something done quickly, as I care only about arranging a move based on quality.

"We are not in a hurry.

“It’s about doing the right thing at the right time.

"Let’s see what happens.”

Zlatan has had a sensational season with the French champions, scoring twice in their recent Coupe de France win over Marseille, as well becoming the French club’s top scorer in a league season, surpassing the great Carlos Bianchi with 38 league goals in a single campaign.

This season saw him win in his ninth domestic league title in the last ten years, having won titles in Spain with Barcelona, in Italy win Milan and Inter as well as four with Paris Saint-Germain.

The question thus remains whether his next title could be in England with Manchester United.
