How Manchester City could line up if they secure their reported transfer targets.
New Manchester City coach Josep Guardiola
It appears that Manchester City will be very busy this summer as Pep Guardiola takes over the squad.
The Bayern Munich manager is expected to add a number of stars to the squad that he will inherit from Manuel Pellegrini.
So far they have not made any new signings but the rumour mill has been anything but, with several stars linked for big-money fees.
Indeed, going off those rumours, it appears as if fans will be in for a vastly different Manchester City starting line up next season.
So how could their starting XI look next season? We decided to take a look.

Who misses out?
Vincent Kompany – Arguably the biggest to miss out, the City captain can no longer be relied on. He has been key to them in the past, but with doubts over his long-term fitness, as well as his age, may see him replaced by Guardiola.
Nicholas Otamendi – A summer signing from Valencia, the Argentine was solid if uninspiring in his first season but would be replaced by Aymeric Laporte.

Yaya Toure – The Ivorian endured another disappointing season. Guardiola sold him when they were at Barcelona, and an exit seems extremely likely this summer also.
Raheem Sterling – Given his huge price tag, Sterling has been a major disappointment at Manchester City. If a move for highly rated youngster Sane comes off, he may find himself on the bench.
