England's Danny Rose and Andros Townsend during training
Tottenham Hotspur could sell Danny Rose in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror.
It has been reported by the British newspaper that Manchester City are interested in signing the England international defender.

Rose has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2007 when he joined from West Yorkshire outfit Leeds United.
The 25-year-old left-back has improved over the past few years and played an important role in Spurs’ successful 2015-16 Premier League campaign.

The Englishman scored one goal and created 24 chances in 24 league appearances this past season. Rose had a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 22%, and won 22 headers, 28 dribbles and 56 tackles.
It is surprising that North London outfit Tottenham are (reportedly) ready to sell Rose in the summer transfer window, although if they get £15m for the Englishman, then perhaps they will be able to get a good replacement.
However, it would not be wise of Spurs to sell a very good player to a direct rival for the Premier League title.
