Wednesday will take on Hull in the Championship playoff final at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday evening.
Holloway believes that the Owls will win the game and book their place in the Premier League for the 2016-17 campaign.
Hull manager Steve Bruce
“There's more than enough quality on both teams to turn a game with one bit of skill - Robert Snodgrass, Ross Wallace, Fernando Forresteri and Abel Hernandez to name just a few,” Holloway told Sky Sports.
“However, I've just got a sneaky feeling Wednesday, who believe they're on the way back, will be celebrating in the Wembley sunshine on Saturday after a dramatic extra-time victory.”
A footnote added: “OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday to win extra-time.”
Sheffield Wednesday manager Carlos Carvalhal
Not many Championship observers would have expected Wednesday to come thus far this season, but the Owls deserve to be where they are.
Carlos Carvalhal’s side have played good football this campaign and have also shown consistency.
Hull do have the better team and they will be favourites heading to the final, but the Tigers cannot be complacent.
If Steve Bruce’s side play to their full potential, then they should be able to win against Wednesday.
The problem is that the Hull players have not always played as well as they should have this season.
The Championship playoff final promises to be a very competitive game, and one should not be surprise if the winners are decided on penalties.
