According to a report in the Liverpool Echo, Everton have already spoken to David Unsworth about potentially succeeding Roberto Martinez.
Unsworth took charge of Everton’s last game of the season, and led the side to a 3-0 victory over Norwich City.
The 42-year-old has previously been working with the under-21’s at Everton, where he has done an impressive job.
Unsworth is not thought to be amongst the leading candidates to take over at Goodison Park permanently, but he is being considered.
Everton have reportedly spoken to Unsworth about taking over at Goodison Park, as they search for a replacement for Roberto Martinez.
Unsworth has made no secret of his desire to manage Everton, and he said soon after being placed in temporary charge that it was a dream of his to take charge on a full-item basis.
Everton are also believed to have spoken to both Manuel Pellegrini and David Moyes in recent weeks.
The Toffees are reportedly yet to make contact with Frank De Boer, though, who was once the favourite to land the job at Goodison Park.
