The Frenchman would spend a season on loan in Turkey, with the hope of returning to a Premier League Villa.
Aston Villa's Jordan Amavi
Not many of Aston Villa’s players did much to impress potential suitors this season. The club finished rock bottom of the Premier League table and the majority of their players underperformed – especially the new signings.
One of the new recruits from French football who did impress however was Jordan Amavi.

The French left-back looked a real talent before being sidelined by a knee injury suffered on international duty in November.
Now it looks as though he might be a transfer target for several teams this summer – including one Turkish side.
Reports in Turkey are suggesting Trabzonspor are eyeing an ambitious move for the player this summer.

Fotospor is reporting that the Turkish side are hopeful of signing the player this summer. The report claims that Villa are open to sending him out on loan this summer, as they hope he can return to the club once back in the Premier League, with Trabzonspor happy to conclude such a deal.

It was recently reported by the Birmingham Mail that Villa are hoping to recoup the £9 million they spent to bring him in from Lille last summer if he does leave – but Trabzonspor would not be able to meet those demands.
Amavi’s future looks set to be a topic for discussion for much of the summer and plenty of other teams are bound to show an interest in the French defender.
Whether he would choose a move to Turkey remains to be seen.
