Leeds' Ross McCormack

Newcastle United fans appear to divided over the rumours that Fulham forward Ross McCormack is on their wishlist this season.

McCormack has scored prolifically at Championship level for the past three seasons, with Leeds and Fulham.

The Scotland international has netted 66 goals in the Championship in the last three years, and Newcastle are now reportedly keen to snap him up this summer (Daily Mail).

Rafael Benitez wants to add a striker to Newcastle’s team this summer, and McCormack is believed to be near the top of his list.

However, Newcastle fans appear divided in their options of whether he would be a good addition.

While their is a recognition that McCormack would almost certainly be guaranteed to score goals for Newcastle, his age is standing against him.

McCormack is now 30, and with Fulham demanding £12 million for the front man he would not come cheap.

Some Newcastle fans feel that McCormack’s addition would not represent value for money, while others suggest that he would be a great addition. Here is the best reaction on social media site Twitter.
