Over the last three days at HITC Sport we have been counting down our list of the top 50 players at Euro 2016.

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo was voted in first place, followed by free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski in third.

Here is a breakdown of how the top 50 appears, by country, club and league:

Top by country

Belgium: 9, Spain: 9, France: 7, Germany: 7, England: 4, Italy: 3

Emerging force Belgium have more players on the list that any other nation apart from defending champions Spain, although several of their stars feature in the lower half of the list.

Spain though do not have a player inside our top 10, while Belgium have one and Germany two.

Top by club

Barcelona: 6, Bayern Munich: 6, Tottenham: 6, Real Madrid: 5

Real Madrid would have had six players too had it not been for France defender Raphael Varane's late injury, which has ruled him out of the tournament.

Tottenham are the best represented Premier League team after their impressive season with six players listed, while Manchester United and Chelsea follow with three, and Arsenal two. Liverpool have no players featured.
