Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has lost faith in Nacer Chadli and will look to sell him this summer, The Times report.

The tipping point was reportedly the 1-0 loss to West Ham in March, for which Chadli was blamed for his role in Michail Antonio's winner, failing to mark the winger and close him down.

Chadli made only 10 Premier League starts for Spurs this past season, with 19 appearances coming from the bench, and he was not selected for his country's Euro 2016 squad.

After the West Ham game, he did not start another league game for the club, with his lengthiest substitute appearance spanning just 24 minutes, only selected in the line-up as part of weakened sides to face Dortmund in the Europa League.

The Belgian was a Franco Baldini signing and is one of just three to remain at the club along with Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela.

The paper report that funds from Chadli's sale would be put towards signing a striker.

With more expected from Clinton N'Jie next season who missed several months with injury, and Heung-Min Son should he stay, Chadli's chances would become more limited should he be kept, while extra summer additions will also make it tougher.
