According to the Liverpool Echo, Watford and Queens Park Rangers are the latest clubs to show an interest in signing Liverpool winger Sergi Canos this summer.

The report claims that the talented youngster has yet to agree a new deal with the Reds and his situation could lead to a potential exit this summer, with the club valuing him at £4 million.

Canos is regarded as one of the top youngsters currently on Liverpool’s books, and he has shown plenty of promise having enjoyed a decent spell at Championship club Brentford this past season.

He made his Liverpool debut on the last day of the season as a late substitute against West Bromwich Albion, later describing it as the best ten minutes of his life as he completed a life-long dream.

However, with no new contract agreement in sight, the Spain U19 star’s stay at Anfield could be short-lived.

A recent report in the Reading Chronicle suggested Reading were keen on signing him, yet the latest clubs to show an interest are Watford and Queens Park Rangers as illustrated by the Liverpool Echo.

Watford have already prized away one of Liverpool’s best young talents in Jerome Sinclair, and now the Hornets could add another one in Canos as the Hertfordshire club look to build for the future.

QPR could see the 19-year-old as an ideal option to bolster their Championship promotion hopes next season, and it looks like they could have a sizeable budget to work with too.
