Grabbing Antenucci on a free transfer would be a savvy move for either side, each in need of strengthening their attack.

At Wigan, Antenucci would be reunited with former Leeds captain Jason Pearce.

Both sides will face further competition for Antenucci's signature, with several sides from Italy already showing interest in the experienced front man,  who has a proven track record in Serie B.
