The 19-year-old defender is returning to his parent club West Ham after spending the 2015-16 season on loan at League One outfit Bradford.
The England Under-20 international, who is very highly rated and could feature for the Hammers’ first team on a regular basis in the coming years, enjoyed a productive loan spell at the Coral Windows Stadium.
Bradford finished as high as fifth in the League One table and qualified for the playoffs this past season.
Phil Parkinson’s side will remain in League One next season, though, as they failed to get the better of Millwall in the playoffs.
Burke has expressed his disappointment at Bradford’s failure to get promoted to the Championship, but he is happy overall with his time at the club.
Burke is a talented young defender, and he will be aiming to break into the West Ham first team next season.
It will not be easy for the English youngster due to the competition for places, and he should make the most of pre-season training to impress manager Slaven Bilic.
