HITC Sport writers have compiled a list of the top 50 players at Euro 2016, assessing players from across the 24 countries taking part at this summer's tournament.
Coming in at number 48 is Belgium and Roma’s Radja Nainggolan, who has established himself in the Belgium side after years of doubts.
International record: 18 Caps, 4 Goals
2015/16: Nainggolan has been excellent for Roma this season, emerging as one of Italian footbal’s best midfield operators.
He played 35 times in Serie A, scoring six times – his best ever haul in Italian football – and also featured in the Champions League on seven occasions.
Nainggolan has often been the nearly man of Belgian football. Two years ago he made the standby list for the FIFA World Cup – but failed to make it to Brazil.
Now he finds himself a vital member of the first-team with his energy and unselfish play crucial to the attacking players getting the chance to shine.
Premier League bound?
Nainggolan has been heavily linked with a move to England this summer, with Chelsea believed to be sniffing around.
In April the Daily Mail said Chelsea were all set to sign him for £26 million as Antonio Conte is a massive fan of the player.
In May however, the same paper reported he was happy in Rome, however rumours persist.
Chelsea fans will love to watch him in action in France to see what it is that has Conte rustling.
