Tottenham and Leicester City are being linked with a move for Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozovic.
Brozovic, 23, was considered to be one of the top stars in Croatian football during his time with Dinamo Zagreb, and his performances earned him a big move to a European giant in January 2015.
The playmaker penned an 18-month loan deal with Inter Milan, which the Serie A side will make permanent this summer - but he could yet be leaving the San Siro regardless.
With seven goals and five assists in all competitions this season, Brozovic has impressed under Roberto Mancini, and looks set to have a huge role for Croatia at this summer's European Championships in France.
Now, Tutto Mercato Web report that there is strong interest from English clubs in signing Brozovic this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur believed to be in the race ahead of their return to the Champions League.
Spurs have already had one Croatian playmaker become a star at White Hart Lane in now-Real Madrid star Luka Modric, and the chance to follow in the footsteps of his international team-mate could be appealing to Brozovic.
With a lack of depth behind Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele, adding a player like Brozovic - who can play in front of the back four or in a more advanced role - could be a smart move for Mauricio Pochettino, depending on the price Inter would want for the midfielder.
However, it's also believed that Premier League champions Leicester City are also keen to add Brozovic as they prepare for life in the Champions League, meaning Spurs may have to move quickly to land him.
It is though added that a move to Arsenal is now considered to be unlikely, with the Gunners instead moving for Borussia Monchengladbach star Granit Xhaka - but he could end up in North London anyway if Spurs do press ahead with a move this summer.
