According to a report on Get West London, Queens Park Rangers are lining up a bid for Huddersfield Town defender Joel Lynch.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is expected to make numerous changes in the summer transfer window, as he looks to create a British core to his squad.

QPR were active in the January transfer window, bringing in the likes of Conor Washington, Nasser El Khayati and Matt Ingram, and they are expected to invest again in the coming months.

Lynch is a player who has vast experience of playing in the Championship, and he was a key player for Huddersfield Town last season.

The defender made 40 appearances for the Terriers this past season, but his future at the Yorkshire club is currently in doubt.

Lynch has just one year remaining on his deal at Huddersfield, and although he has been offered new terms, QPR are reportedly hopeful of getting a deal done.

Rangers have allowed experienced campaigners such as Gabrielle Angella and Clint Hill to leave already this summer, meaning that Lynch could have a big part to play if he does move to Loftus Road.
