Questions have been asked over Heung-Min Son's future?
Son was substituted at half-time in a game Tottenham went on to lost 5-1, and the dressing room after the game may not have been a pleasant place.
The Telegraph reported: "The 23-year-old was dragged off at half-time in Tottenham’s 5-1 defeat to Newcastle United for a performance that left some of his team-mates enraged."
What is unclear is whether this anger manifested itself in any sort of confrontation, as on the pitch after the final whistle there was no evident display of frustration towards Son, with pretty much all of the club's players feeling sorry for themselves.
Son played on the left wing, and left Ben Davies exposed behind him, with Giorgino Wijnaldum and Daryl Janmaat posing a real threat for Newcastle.
The report suggested Son is to be put up for sale this summer with Mauricio Pochettino frustrated in a player who struggled to make an impact in the second half of the season, scoring four league goals in total, even though two of these came in the final three games.
He was Tottenham's most expensive signing of last summer, but if he is a player who his teammates do not feel contributes to the cause 100 per cent of the time then it will be tough for him to remain around, with Pochettino showing he is not afraid to reverse his decisions.
He did this by ditching his early appointments as captain and vice-captains Younes Kaboul and Emmanuel Adebayor, while also sending out Federico Fazio on loan 18 months after signing him. Son may be the most high profile victim of his ruthless streak yet.
