According to The Sun, Manchester City’s Yaya Toure has received two offers from China.
The report claims that Chinese duo SIPG and Jiangsu have offered the Ivory Coast international deals worth £300,000 a week, which would make him one of the best paid players on the planet.
City are expected to make a number of changes this summer with Pep Guardiola taking over as boss.
Toure is one of those mooted for a possible exit following a somewhat subdued campaign from the midfielder, and it appears he is not short of potential mouthwatering offers from abroad.
The report claims that two Chinese clubs are willing to make him one of the top paid players in history, and that City have been alerted by the player’s representatives that he wants to leave the club.
Toure currently has one year remaining on his existing deal, suggesting that either City must take a reduced sum for his services or the 33-year-old could potentially buy himself out of his contract.
However, his influence on the team has been waning and now it appears the right time for him to leave.
The Sun go on to say that both Chinese clubs are willing to pay him a whopping £20 million signing-on fee.
