Leicester City have been linked with Steven N’Zonzi.
The report claims that the Foxes are considering potential replacements should N’Golo Kante leave the club this summer and Sevilla’s holding midfielder N’Zonzi is seen as an ideal candidate.
Leicester are set to experience an interesting summer on the transfer front, what with the club in need of preparing for a Champions League campaign plus inevitable interest in their top players.
Kante, despite only arriving at the club 12 months ago, has been mooted as a potential player to leave the King Power Stadium following a terrific debut Premier League campaign.
Arsenal and Juventus have been heavily linked with the Frenchman, as explained in the report, although for the latter much could depend on whether they manage to hold on to star player Paul Pogba.
N’Zonzi would be a solid acquisition for Leicester regardless, and his experience in the Premier League with former club Stoke City means he would have no problem finding his feet in the East Midlands.
The Sevilla man has been an outstanding figure for Unai Emery’s side over the past two seasons, helping the La Liga club pick up their third straight Europa League triumph with a recent 3-1 win over Liverpool.
The Foxes are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer, although supporters of the club should not expect many big-name arrivals as Claudio Ranieri wishes to stick to the tried and tested.
