Report details Kenny Miller's classy gesture in wake of Rangers' cup final defeat to Hibernian

Mark Warburton's Glasgow Rangers side were beaten in dramatic fashion by their Scottish Championship rivals.

Kenny Miller demonstrated his class in the immediate aftermath of Rangers' Scottish Cup final defeat to Hibernian by heading straight to the opponents' dressing room following the game to congratulate Alan Stubbs' men on their victory, The Scottish Sun reports.

The Gers went into the Hampden Park contest looking to secure the treble having already wrapped up the Scottish Championship and Challenge Cup titles.

But Mark Warburton's men made a dreadful start as some questionable defending allowed Anthony Stokes to open the scoring inside the first three minutes.

It was Miller that bagged the equaliser against his former club as he powered a header past Conrad Logan just before the half-hour mark.

And while Andy Halliday would give Rangers the lead in the second-half, Celtic loanee Stokes would equalise with 10 minutes to go before David Gray's stoppage time winner meant that it would be the Easter Road side that would be lifting the trophy and taking a place in Europe next year.

But despite the gut-wrenching manner of the defeat, and the events following the game that somewhat overshadowed Hibs' win, The Scottish Sun reports that Miller was able to put any disappointment behind him briefly to congratulate the victors.

And while the rest of the squad will be dejected following the loss, they will soon be able to reflect on things much more positively when they consider all they have achieved this past term.
