Brendan Rodgers' appointment as Celtic boss has led to increased speculation over Steven Gerrard's future.
The Liverpool legend worked under the Northern Irishman at Anfield, but decided to end his long spell at the club during Rodgers' tenure as boss.
He is currently playing for MLS side LA Galaxy, and bookmakers Ladbrokes are already offering odds on Gerrard returning to the UK once the current season across the pond is over.
Celtic are narrow favourites but there are two sets of odds, whether he will make his comeback as a player, or a coach with either Celtic or Liverpool.
The prices are as follows:
- Sign for Celtic this summer and play in 16/17 season 11/8
- Sign for Celtic this summer as a coach 6/4
- Sign for Liverpool this summer and play in 16/17 season 7/4
- Sign or Liverpool this summer as a coach 2/1
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told HITC: "With Gerrard looking a certainty to return to Britain it now seems he has two simple decisions to make; Celtic or Liverpool and playing or coaching. At the moment the odds narrowly favour him putting on his boots again for Rodgers in the Ladbrokes Premiership over a return to Anfield."
