Everton fans appear to have lost patience in Romelu Lukaku, after his latest comments to the Belgian press - and as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
Lukaku has previously suggested that he may leave Everton this summer, and he has now stated that his mind is made up.
"In my head, I have already made a decision, we’ll see," he said, when asked about his future.
Although Lukaku would not go as far as to confirm that he was leaving Everton, Toffees supporters seem to have taken his statement as if it meant that he wanted to leave this summer.
And Everton fans no longer want the club to stand in the 22-year-old’s way, stating that he should now be sold to the highest bidder.
Not advocating moyes coming back but lukaku would be rotting in under 21s if he said half things he said to pressers— ADIOS BOBBY LAD (@EFC_Jayy) May 22, 2016
Between Lukaku and his dad spouting off, I'm more than ready to see the back of him. Not the Everton way. #EFC— Adam Stubbings (@A_Stubbings) May 21, 2016
EFC should play hardball with Lukaku and sell him. Just make sure we get a good price.— tony 2836 (@afg2836) May 21, 2016
Players come and go but EFC is forever, if #Lukaku wants out get shut, drifts in and out if games. Get someone proud to wear the shirt— Liz EFC for life (@lizlong2003) May 21, 2016
Get rid of lukaku immediately. Last eight games have shown what he would be like next season. Absolute waste of space. His heads gone. #EFC— Simon David Grant (@simondavid76) May 21, 2016
Lukaku wouldn't be the 1st player to think he's bigger than the club. I think only Rooney has gone on to prosper since leaving EFC— Rob Kavanagh (@Kavanini1878) May 21, 2016
Heard more quotes from Lukaku & his team about moving on than West Ham playing their last game at the Boleyn! Get top dollar, Bye Rom! #Efc— Hazy (@Hazy1878) May 21, 2016
There is absolutely no doubting Lukaku’s talent, and his departure will be a blow for the Toffees.
Everton have relied heavily on Lukaku for goals this season, and the powerful Belgian international looks to have the potential to become one of the best strikers in the world.
However, Everton now have funds to spend, and they should make a sizeable amount of money if they do choose to sell Lukaku.
The likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid are two of the clubs who have been linked with the 22-year-old so far.
